Manchester United striker James Wilson has admitted that it was an easy decision to join Brighton & Hove Albion on loan for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old was tracked by a number of clubs both in the Premier League and the Championship, but Wilson believes that he could not turn down a move to Chris Hughton's side.
The England Under-21 international told The Argus: "There were a lot of clubs interested but there was only one horse in the race for me.
"It's a brilliant club, brilliant facilities, and I think the style of play will suit my game, so that was the basis behind my decision."
The youngster also revealed that he asked former Albion loanee Jesse Lingard for his opinion and Wilson felt that the glowing recommendations helped cement his decision.
He added: "I asked for some advice about what it was like, he said it's a great club. Everyone I've spoken to has said it's a brilliant set-up and brilliant club with a great bunch of lads."
Wilson made just one appearance for Manchester United this season, coming off the bench for the final eight minutes against Arsenal.
