Sports Mole picks out its Premier League Team of the Week.

It was all change at the bottom of the Premier League table this weekend as Queens Park Rangers notched up their first win of the season.

Harry Redknapp's side ended their abysmal start to the campaign thanks to a 2-1 win over Fulham - a result that lifted them off the bottom of the pile.

At the top, Manchester City put the pressure on leaders Manchester United with a 3-1 victory at Newcastle United, but the Red Devils replied in kind with a 3-1 triumph over Sunderland.

One of the weekend's more eye-catching results came at Anfield as Aston Villa stunned Liverpool by beating them 3-1 on their home turf.

Having digested all of the action, Sports Mole selects the 11 players who made their mark.

David de Gea (Man Utd)
The Spaniard had to be on his guard a number of times at Old Trafford during Saturday's win over Sunderland.

Pablo Zabaleta (Man City)
The dynamic Zabaleta rarely looked troubled against Newcastle as the champions kept up the pressure on United.
Nathan Baker (Aston Villa)
He may only be 21 years old, but Baker showed tremendous composure and maturity at the back as Villa recorded an impressive victory at Liverpool.
Jan Vertonghen (Spurs)
Vertonghen popped up when his teammates needed him most to score the winner against Swansea.
Phil Jones (Man Utd)
The 20-year-old was full of enthusiasm at both end of the pitch to help the Red Devils see off Sunderland.

Anthony Pilkington (Norwich)
Pilkington's season just gets better and better thanks to his sharp strike in Saturday's victory over Wigan.
Yaya Toure (Man City)
The Ivorian was a class apart at St James' Park with his vision and penetration in the attacking third.
Adel Taarabt (QPR)
The enigmatic Taarabt showed why he is so valuable to QPR on Saturday when his brace helped them to a first win of the season over Fulham.
David Silva (Man City)
While Yaya Toure provided the cut and thrust, Silva added the touches of brilliance to City's win at Newcastle.

Robin van Persie (Man Utd)
The ever-lethal Van Persie got his side off the mark against Sunderland and was an integral part to all of their incisive, flowing moves.
Christian Benteke (Aston Villa)
The Belgian was all pace and power at Liverpool and he was rewarded with two cracking goals.
