Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic will continue his comeback from injury by playing in a friendly against Norwegian side Valarenga.
Vidic has been sidelined with a cruciate knee ligament problem since December 2011 but could be back in action for the new Premier League campaign.
United assistant manager Mike Phelan takes charge of Sunday's match in Oslo, with Ferguson away on club business.
The match also sees starts for a number of players returning for the first time since playing in Euro 2012, with Wayne Rooney, Ashley Young, Danny Welbeck and Nani all starting.
