Marcus Rashford will be bidding to return to the scoresheet when Manchester United travel to West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday night.

The 25-year-old has been in excellent form for the Red Devils during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring 29 goals and registering 11 assists in 52 appearances in all competitions.

Rashford has 16 goals and five assists to his name in the Premier League this season, but Erik ten Hag's side will enter this match off the back of a 1-0 loss at Brighton & Hove Albion on Thursday.

Man United still have work to do in order to secure a top-four spot in the Premier League table despite sitting four points ahead of fifth-placed Liverpool with a game in hand.

Ahead of the clash with West Ham in the English capital, Sports Mole takes a look at how Rashford has performed against the Hammers in the past.

Rashford has faced West Ham on more occasions than any other team during his professional career, featuring against the London club 18 times, boasting a record of 11 wins, four draws and three defeats.

The England international has five goals and four assists against the Hammers in all competitions, with four of those goals and three of the assists coming in the Premier League.

Rashford has tackled West Ham on 13 occasions in the league, boasting a record of seven wins, three draws and three defeats, while he has also faced them five times in the FA Cup and EFL Cup.

The forward has helped Man United beat West Ham on three occasions in the FA Cup, scoring once and providing one assist, in addition to featuring as a late substitute for the Red Devils in their 4-1 success over the capital side in the quarter-finals of the 2016-17 EFL Cup.

Rashford has actually scored on his last two Premier League appearances against West Ham, including a 1-0 victory for Man United at Old Trafford earlier this season.

The forward also hit the winner in Manchester when the two sides met last term, but he missed Man United's last match at the London Stadium due to a shoulder injury.

Rashford has scored twice away from home against West Ham in the league, though, including a goal in a 3-1 success for the English champions during the 2020-21 campaign.

The Englishman has not actually lost to the Hammers since the early stages of the 2019-20 campaign, also helping Man United run out 3-1 winners in the fifth round of the FA Cup earlier this season.
