CRISTIANO RONALDO 'HAS NO PLANS TO LEAVE MAN UNITED'
Cristiano Ronaldo is not planning to seek a move away from Manchester United this summer despite the recent speculation surrounding the Portugal international.
The 37-year-old scored 24 goals and registered three assists in 38 appearances for the Red Devils during the 2021-22 campaign, impressing on his return to the club.
Man United will not play in the Champions League next term, though, having finished sixth in the 2021-22 Premier League, and there have been suggestions that Ronaldo could look to leave Old Trafford this summer.
It has also been claimed that the experienced forward is unsure of his position in the team under Erik ten Hag, who has replaced Ralf Rangnick at the helm.
However, according to Sport Witness, Ronaldo has no plans to leave the Red Devils this summer and is preparing to spend at least one more campaign at Old Trafford.
MAN UNITED CEO PROVIDES FRENKIE DE JONG UPDATE
Man United CEO Richard Arnold has confirmed that the club are attempting to sign Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona during this summer's transfer window.
The 25-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with the 20-time English champions said to be locked in talks with Barcelona over a summer deal.
Speaking to a group of anti-Glazer protestors in a Cheshire pub, Arnold said that the Red Devils were "doing everything" possible to secure the Dutchman's signature.
"As a club we're doing everything possible to get the deal done. I've been up for days trying to get it done, the money is there but there's things standing in our way which I can't say," said the club's CEO.
De Jong was again a key player for Barcelona last term, scoring four goals and registering five assists in 46 appearances, but the team's financial problems could see him depart this summer.
MAN UNITED CONSIDERING SUMMER MOVE FOR DAVID RAUM?
Man United are reportedly considering making a move for Hoffenheim defender David Raum during this summer's transfer window.
The 24-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2021-22 campaign for his German club, making 35 appearances in all competitions, contributing three goals and 13 assists in the process.
The Red Devils are believed to be eyeing a new left-back this summer, with Alex Telles potentially leaving the club before the end of the transfer window.
According to Sky Deutschland, Ten Hag's side are keeping a close eye on the developments surrounding Raum, who has also been linked with a switch to Manchester City.
Luke Shaw will be back from injury for the start of next season, but the England international also struggled for consistency at Old Trafford during the 2021-22 campaign.
