Sports Mole looks at some of the summer signings in line to make their debuts for their new clubs when the Premier League resumes this weekend.

After a two-week break, the Premier League resumes this weekend for the fifth round of fixtures.

Since the last matches, the transfer window has closed, with a number of clubs adding to their squad on deadline day.

Sports Mole takes a look at some of the players that could be making their debuts for their new clubs in the Premier League this weekend.

1. Kevin De Bruyne - Manchester City

Belgium winger Kevin De Bruyne completed his move to Manchester City the day before the transfer window closed, costing Manuel Pellegrini's side a reported £55m. The 24-year-old, who previously had a spell with Chelsea, returns to the Premier League less than two years after moving to Wolfsburg.

De Bruyne trained with his new teammates for the first time yesterday after returning from international duty with Belgium, where he was playing alongside club captain Vincent Kompany.

With Sergio Aguero arriving back from international duty with Argentina later than some of his European teammates, and Fabian Delph picking up a hamstring injury while playing for England, Pellegrini will surely be looking to get the new addition involved in their match against Crystal Palace this weekend.

De Bruyne struggled to settle in England during his time with Chelsea, being sent out on loan to Genk and Werder Bremen, while being used sparingly by Jose Mourinho before his sale to Wolfsburg in January 2014.

2. Anthony Martial - Manchester United

One of the most talked about transfers of the summer was Manchester United's purchase of AS Monaco striker Anthony Martial. The club paid an initial fee of £36m for the teenager, which could rise to £58m, making it the highest fee paid for a teenage player.

It has been a big couple of weeks for Martial, with the forward making his international debut for France just three days after completing the switch to Old Trafford, coming off the bench in a friendly against Portugal.

Because of his price tag, the pressure will be on Martial to make an immediate impact for Louis van Gaal's side, but it could be a difficult debut if he makes his first appearance this weekend, with the team hosting Liverpool.

With Martial having spent little time with his new club since completing his transfer, it would be a surprise to see the teenager start such a big match on debut, but with the move under such scrutiny, Van Gaal will surely look to get the Frenchman involved off the bench, as scoring against one of the club's bitterest rivals would silence the critics.

3. Ramiro Funes Mori - Everton

Argentine defender Ramiro Funes Mori will play in Europe for the first time after completing a deadline-day move from River Plate to Everton.

Although the 24-year-old will arrive back from international duty a little later than some of his teammates, Bryan Oviedo's injury brings the defender into contention, with Roberto Martinez confirming that the £9.5m signing could start at left-back against Chelsea if he is ready.

Although Funes Mori's fee is overshadowed by some of the other new arrivals in the Premier League this summer, it is a big fee for a defender untested in the English game.

With the Argentine season running between February and December, Funes Mori has been featuring regularly for his former side in the runup to his move, making 25 appearances this season and scoring three goals.

4. Virgil van Dijk - Southampton

Virgil van Dijk's move from Celtic to Southampton had been expected all summer, but the Dutchman only completed his transfer to St Mary's on deadline day, agreeing a five-year contract with Ronald Koeman's side.

The defender remained with the Scottish champions throughout their Champions League qualifiers and the playoff round, but with the Glasgow side missing out on a spot in the group stage, he seized the chance to move to the Premier League.

Van Dijk made a big impact during his time with Ronny Deila's side, proving himself a capable defender while also showing off his skills as a free-kick specialist, scoring 10 goals in all competitions for Celtic last season.

The 24-year-old played 60 minutes in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Oxford United during the international break, and has insisted that he is ready to go should Koeman include him for this weekend's match against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.

5. Michail Antonio - West Ham United

West Ham United were one of the busiest clubs on transfer deadline day, signing four players on the last day of business in the transfer window, including Nottingham Forest winger Michael Antonio for an undisclosed fee.

Despite beating Liverpool 3-0 last time out, Slaven Bilic will surely be looking to involve some of his new players when they face Newcastle United on Monday, having been backed so heavily by the club's board.

With Enner Valencia injured and Matt Jarvis joining Norwich City on loan, Antonio would certainly provide some pace out wide and can be a threat in the box if needed, having scored four goals in five appearances for Forest before moving to Upton Park.

He will face competition from fellow deadline-day signing Victor Moses, who is on loan from Chelsea, for playing time, but the Nigeria international has been hampered by an injury in the opening weeks of the season, so Antonio is the more match fit of the two.
