Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim is reportedly determined to bring at least one new goalkeeper to Old Trafford this year amid Andre Onana's ongoing struggles at Old Trafford.
Onana, 28, has made a series of high-profile errors since joining the Red Devils in the summer of 2023, and there have been suggestions that the Cameroonian is currently 'unsettled in Manchester'.
Altay Bayindir, who is the number two, has also not convinced, with the Turkey international conceding four in his last appearance against Tottenham Hotspur, and there is speculation surrounding his future.
Tom Heaton is the number three, but the Englishman is out of contract in June, meaning that the goalkeeping department at Old Trafford may have to be revamped this summer.
Here, Sports Mole looks at three realistic goalkeeping targets for the 20-time English champions, who are currently down in 14th spot in the Premier League table.
Bart Verbruggen (Brighton & Hove Albion)
Verbruggen's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich believed to be keen on the Brighton stopper, while there is said to be interest from Man United.
The Netherlands international has made 45 appearances for the Seagulls since his arrival from Anderlecht, keeping 11 clean sheets in the process, while he has made 18 outings in all competitions this term.
The 22-year-old is regarded as one of the best young goalkeepers in European football, and Brighton are in a strong position to keep hold of him, with the Dutchman's contract due to run until June 2028.
However, the Seagulls will seemingly find it difficult to retain Verbruggen on a long-term basis, and Man United could potentially make an attempt to bring him to Old Trafford as their new number one this summer.
Senne Lammens (Royal Antwerp)
Lammens is another goalkeeper believed to be on Man United's radar, with the 22-year-old making a strong impression for Royal Antwerp, and his performances are said to have led to a host of clubs taking a keen interest.
The Belgium Under-21s international has kept five clean sheets in 20 league appearances this season, and Borussia Dortmund are said to be among the clubs monitoring his development.
There have been suggestions that Lammens would be more of a replacement for Bayindir, should Man United's number two move on, but he is allegedly viewed as a goalkeeper capable of putting major pressure on Onana.
Lammens is relatively inexperienced, but he has played in the Champions League for Royal Antwerp and has now featured on 20 occasions in the Jupiler Pro League, where his performances are seemingly being closely monitored.
Marcin Bulka (Nice)
Bulka is Nice's number one goalkeeper, with the 25-year-old making 21 appearances for his French club during the 2024-25 campaign, keeping three clean sheets in the process.
The Poland international has entered the final 18 months of his contract, and there have been claims that he could be available for a fee in the region of €20m (£16.6m), representing a low-cost option in the current market.
Man United head coach Amorim is believed to be an admirer of Bulka and views him as a number one rather than a number two, so his arrival could lead to Onana leaving Old Trafford.
Bulka has played in the Europa League and Conference League for Nice, while he actually spent the latter stages of his youth career at Chelsea before leaving for Paris Saint-Germain when his deal at Stamford Bridge expired.
The stopper featured just twice for PSG, though, and moved to Nice in 2021, initially on loan.
