Fulham are reportedly eyeing up a move to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Neto on a free transfer this summer.
The 33-year-old joined the Catalan giants from Valencia for around £30m in 2019, but he has failed to nail down a regular place in the starting lineup, featuring only 21 times across all competitions.
Neto, who has been playing second fiddle to first-choice stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, is believed to be surplus to requirements under head coach Xavi, with Barca looking to move the Brazilian on to balance their books.
According to Sport, Barca are prepared to terminate Neto's contract – which has just 12 months remaining – and Fulham are keen to bring the goalkeeper to Cravan Cottage.
However, the report adds that Neto would prefer to return to Italy having previously spent time with Fiorentina and Juventus.
Missing out on Neto may not be too much of a concern for Fulham boss Marco Silva, as one report claims that the Cottagers are making progress in talks to sign Arsenal's Bernd Leno.
One player who is seeking to move away from Italy this summer is Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to a report.
The 27-year-old has spent the last three years with the Serie A giants and made 45 appearances for the club across all competitions last season.
However, Rabiot's future has been cast into doubt after he was left out of Juve's pre-season tour of the USA and has been told to train with the club's Under-23s squad.
Tuttosport claims that Rabiot is now looking for a way out of the Italian outfit this summer and the France international is keen to return to Paris Saint-Germain.
The report adds that Lyon have also expressed an interest but the midfielder would prefer to re-join PSG, with his mother and agent attempting to secure a return for her son to the Parc des Princes.
Rabiot, who came through PSG's academy and spent seven years in the senior side between 2012 and 2019, has just a year remaining on his Juventus contract.
Staying in Serie A, AC Milan have reportedly become the latest club to join the race for Aston Villa's highly-rated starlet Carney Chukwuemeka.
The 18-year-old midfielder has entered the final 12 months of his contract and allegedly has no plans to extend his deal, which has alerted a number of top European clubs including the likes of Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal.
Italian news outlet Calciomercato claims that Milan have a 'serious' interest in Chukwuemeka and they have already held talks with the player's agent over a proposed move to San Siro.
The report adds that Villa value the midfielder at £20m, but Milan believe that they could persuade the Premier League club to lower their asking price by half considering the youngster is at risk of leaving Villa Park for free next summer.
Chukwuemeka, who was left out of Steven Gerrard's pre-season squad for their tour of Australia, made 12 Premier League appearances for Villa last season including just two starts.
Elsewhere, Everton right-back Nathan Patterson could reportedly be heading out on loan to a Championship club for the 2022-23 campaign.
The 20-year-old joined the Toffees from Rangers in January for around £16m, but has only featured once for the senior side.
According to The Sun, Everton head coach Frank Lampard is keen to sign a new right-back this summer as is prepared to let Patterson leave on loan to gain regular first-team football.
The report adds that a host of Championship clubs have expressed their interest in signing the Scotsman ahead of the new season.
Everton have already allowed centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite to join Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven on loan, while Ellis Simms could also depart on a temporary deal with both Huddersfield Town and Millwall believed to be admirers of the striker. body check tags ::
