Manchester United are interested in signing Valencia youngster Fran Villalba, according to the player's agent.
Earlier this week, it was claimed that Man United were keeping tabs on the 18-year-old, who was handed his senior debut at Valencia by Gary Neville last season.
It is thought that the midfielder has a £3.6m buyout clause in his current contract and according to Vicente Flores, Man United have opened discussions for the teenager.
"With me. Just a contact to know his situation. They're already aware. I don't know about Valencia. But I reckon they will make it hard. We've just started talking. It's up to United," Flores told Sport Witness.
Villalba has made four first-team appearances for Valencia.
