Kevin Strootman's agent has insisted that there was no interest in the Roma midfielder from Manchester United during this summer's transfer window.
The Old Trafford side were reportedly interested in the Netherlands international, with speculation that the team will continue to pursue the 24-year-old in January.
However, Fabio Parisi told The Express: "There is no kind of interest on Strootman. He is recovering from his injury and will be available soon to contribute to Roma's cause.
"For the rest, I say that is just talk and there is nothing, it's all just speculation from England."
Strootman made 25 appearances for Roma last season, but missed the end of the campaign at the World Cup with a knee injury.
