Barcelona and Manchester United target Jordi Alba could be about to sign a new contract with Valencia.
The European giants were expected to battle it out for the 22-year-old's signature over the summer.
The left-back, whose current deal expires at the end of next year, is now close to signing new terms at the Mestalla until 2015, according to talkSPORT.
Alba has made two appearances for the Spanish national side.
