Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho reportedly 'dreams' of representing Real Madrid at some stage in the future.

The 19-year-old has been in strong form for the Red Devils during the 2023-24 campaign, making 38 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven goals and registering four assists in the process.

Garnacho signed a new contract at Old Trafford last April, with his current terms due to run until June 2028, and he is viewed as a vital player for the club both now and in the future.

A recent report claimed that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is a huge admirer of the Argentina international and plans to bring him to Bernabeu in the future.

According to Tyc Sports, Garnacho 'dreams' of turning out for Real Madrid at some stage before the end of his career, but he is not currently looking to leave Man United.

"Alejandro Garnacho's dream as a player is to play for Real Madrid. Not now, but he has it clear that he wants to play for Real Madrid at one point in his career," claims journalist Gaston Edul.

Garnacho, who was born in Madrid, started his youth career with Getafe before moving to Atletico Madrid, spending five years in their academy system ahead of a switch to Man United in 2020.

The forward debuted for the Red Devils in April 2022, and he has since made 74 appearances for the club, scoring 12 goals and registering nine assists in the process.

Garnacho's younger brother claimed on Sunday that the attacker had only been able to train for two days in the build-up to the FA Cup clash with Liverpool due to a hamstring issue.

The ex-Atletico youngster was able to play the full 120 minutes against Liverpool, though, and he provided the assist for Amad Diallo to make it 4-3 to Erik ten Hag's side in the final moments of the quarter-final.

Garnacho has now linked up with the Argentina squad for their friendlies with El Salvador and Costa Rica, and he will then return to Manchester to prepare for the Premier League clash with Brentford on March 30.

David Beckham, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Cristiano Ronaldo are examples of former Man United players to have left the club in order to make the move to Real Madrid.

Real Madrid currently have the likes of Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo in the final third of the field, while the club are widely expected to sign Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer this summer, with the France international preparing to leave Paris Saint-Germain. body check tags ::
