Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is supposedly keen to reunite with Paul Pogba in Turin.
The Italian has taken control of the reins once more following the sacking of Andrea Pirlo, and a busy summer awaits for the Old Lady as they attempt to wrestle the Serie A crown out of Inter Milan's hands.
Pogba enjoyed a successful four-year spell with Juventus - two of them under the tutelage of Allegri - between 2012 and 2016, and his Manchester United future remains uncertain with 12 months left to run on his current deal.
According to Calciomercato, Allegri would welcome Pogba back to Juventus with open arms, but United would still demand a figure close to £90m, even with his contract due to expire in 2022.
As a result, the report adds that Juve could send five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo the other way in order to drive the price down, as a fee of £90m is too much for the Old Lady to fork out in the current financial climate.
Pogba ended the 2020-21 campaign with six goals and nine assists from 42 appearances in all competitions, and his first spell at Juve saw him register 34 goals and 40 assists in 178 appearances, winning four Serie A titles and two Coppa Italia crowns in that time. body check tags ::
