Manchester United have reportedly made Juventus centre-forward Alvaro Morata one of their main summer transfer targets.
At the end of the season the Spaniard is expected to return to Real Madrid, who have a buy-back option on him following his departure for Turin in 2014.
However, rather than hand the 23-year-old a place in the squad at the Bernabeu, Madrid will instead look to make a profit on Morata, according to La Stampa.
The report adds that the Red Devils are currently the leading contenders for the striker's services.
Morata has scored seven goals in 32 appearances for the Bianconeri this term.
