Amad Diallo 'could leave Manchester United on loan'

:Headline: Amad Diallo 'could leave Manchester United on loan':
Manchester United plan to send Amad Diallo out on loan for the 2021-22 campaign, according to a report.
Sports Mole

Amad Diallo could reportedly leave Manchester United on loan before the end of the transfer window.

The 19-year-old joined the 20-time English champions from Atalanta BC in January and made eight appearances in the second half of last season, scoring once and providing one assist.

The attacker could find it difficult to secure regular minutes next term, though, due to the arrival of Jadon Sancho and return of Jesse Lingard from a loan spell at West Ham United.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's depth of quality in the forward areas could lead to Amad leaving on a short-term basis before the end of the summer transfer window.

The teenager has not been involved in Man United's preparations for the 2021-22 campaign, as he represented Ivory Coast at the Tokyo Olympics.

Atalanta were believed to be keen on keeping Amad at the club for the second half of last season, but the request was turned down by Solskjaer.
