Barcelona have reportedly succeeded in handing a new long-term contract to Ansu Fati.
Having made an instant impression in the senior ranks at Camp Nou, the 17-year-old is said to have emerged as a target for Manchester United.
Despite Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu having little interest in cashing in on the prospect, a release clause of £151m leaves the Catalan giants at risk of having to sell the teenager.
However, according to reports in Spain, the La Liga leaders are close to announcing a new deal for Fati, which will include a higher release clause.
Should fresh terms be finalised, it is claimed that any interested club will have to pay a world record £326m to sign the wideman.
Fati has contributed six goals and one assist in Spain's top flight and the Champions League this season.
