Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has reportedly decided that he wants to remain at Old Trafford for at least the first half of the season.
Martial has been heavily linked with an exit from United all summer, with the player's agent Philippe Lamboley having previously indicated that the France international would look to move on before the end of the transfer window.
However, according to The Sun, Martial is keen to try to prove himself at the North-West giants after their refusal to allow him to join another Premier League outfit.
Manager Jose Mourinho and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward are allegedly in disagreement over the player's future, with Mourinho said to be happy to sell Martial and Woodward adamant that the attacker will not be sold for anything less than his full value.
Martial was hauled off after an hour on Sunday as United suffered a 3-2 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion.
