Manchester United's summer transfer business will reportedly have been concluded once they secure the signatures of Antony and Martin Dubravka.

The Red Devils are believed to have reached an agreement with Ajax over a €100m (£85m) deal for Antony, with the Brazil international landing in the United Kingdom on Monday for his medical.

Dubravka, meanwhile, is also said to be on the verge of joining the club from Newcastle United.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has now been reached between all parties, with the goalkeeper set to spend the 2022-23 campaign on loan at Old Trafford.

Romano claims that there is a £5m buy option at the end of the season, but it is not mandatory, with Man United not committed to signing him on a permanent basis during next summer's transfer window.

The 33-year-old will allegedly travel to Manchester on Monday evening before undergoing his medical with the 20-time English champions on Tuesday.

"There has been contact between the clubs and those discussions will continue," Newcastle boss Eddie Howe told reporters at the end of last week. "In terms of a final outcome, I'm reluctant to lose any important players from the group so that will be a decision that is out of my hands."

Dubravka moved to St James' Park from Sparta Prague in 2018, initially on loan, and he has represented the team on 130 occasions in all competitions.

The Slovakia international made 27 appearances at club level last term, including 26 in the Premier League, but he has not featured this term due to the arrival of Nick Pope earlier this summer.

Man United have been looking to bring in a new goalkeeper to provide competition for David de Gea, with Tom Heaton currently the only senior back up to the Spaniard, as Dean Henderson has joined Nottingham Forest on loan, while Lee Grant retired following the expiration of his contract.

According to the Daily Mail, the team's summer business will end with the signings of Antony and Dubravka.

Erik ten Hag's side have brought in Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro during this summer's transfer window, and all four were involved in Saturday's 1-0 win over Southampton.

Man United have been heavily linked with Frenkie de Jong since the end of May, but the club have now seemingly admitted defeat in their pursuit of the Barcelona midfielder.

There have also been rumours surrounding additions at right-back and centre-forward, but the Red Devils are said to be unlikely to sign players in those positions before the window closes.

Cristiano Ronaldo's future remains unclear heading into the final stages of the window, although Napoli have allegedly emerged as suitors for the unsettled forward. body check tags ::
