Arsenal have reportedly joined Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester United in the race to sign Napoli midfielder Jorginho this summer.
The 26-year-old's performances this season have seen him linked with a move away from the Serie A title contenders, with the main interest coming from the Premier League.
Jorginho's agent Joao Santos has claimed that no concrete offers have arrived from the English top flight yet, but Metro reports that Arsenal are now considering an approach.
The Gunners are looking to significantly improve their squad next season following a dismal campaign which has left them 13 points behind the top four and 33 off leaders Manchester City with only nine games to play.
Arsenal's scouts have reportedly returned positive reports regarding the Italy international, although they are expected to face competition for his signature from Liverpool and United.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is understood to have identified Jorginho as a possible replacement for Emre Can, who is out of contract at the end of the season, while Jose Mourinho has reportedly given the green light for a £50m approach from Manchester United.
The central midfielder has scored three goals and assisted four more in his 28 appearances across all competitions this season.
