Arsenal have reportedly been informed that they will have to pay £17.5m if they want to sign Braga youngster Pedro Neto.
During the closing weeks of last season, Neto was given the chance to represent the first team with two substitute appearances.
The 17-year-old played for a total of 47 minutes during his two outings, scoring one goal, and according to A Bola, that has led to interest from the North Londoners.
However, it has been claimed that Braga have rejected an offer of £13.1m, instead insisting that Arsenal meet his release clause if they are to sell him during the summer.
Barcelona and Manchester United have also been linked with a move, with United boss Jose Mourinho known to be an admirer of the player.
Over the weekend, it was suggested that Arsenal may lose one of their own brightest talents to Portugal, with Benfica said to be closing in on attacker Chris Willock.
