Rumoured Arsenal and Manchester United target Dayot Upamecano is reportedly stalling on agreeing a new contract with RB Leipzig.
Upamecano is said to have been eyed up by the Premier League pair, as well as Bayern Munich and Barcelona, ahead of the summer transfer window.
The financial implications caused by the coronavirus pandemic were believed to have put off clubs from making a move for the 21-year-old, but German outlet Bild suggests that the likes of Arsenal and United have been handed a major boost due to the defender's contract situation.
Leipzig had hoped to tie the France Under-21s international down for the long term before the end of June, it is claimed, at which point he will enter the final 12 months of his existing deal.
The report indicates that the Bundesliga side will be forced to listen to offers for Upamecano should he fail to put pen to paper, knowing that he can leave for free at the end of next season.
Upamecano has made 33 appearances for Leipzig in all competitions this season.
