Arsenal reportedly sent scouts to watch Benfica winger Andrija Zivkovic in action during his side's Primeira Liga clash with Maritimo on Saturday.
The 21-year-old played the full 90 minutes for the title hopefuls and scored Benfica's final goal in a 5-0 drubbing at the Estadio da Luz.
Arsenal's scouts are understood to have been impressed with Zivkovic's performance and are now considering an official approach for the winger once the transfer window reopens this summer.
However, Premier League rivals Manchester United have also sent scouts to watch the Serbia international this season and could provide competition for his signature at the end of the campaign.
Zivkovic has scored three goals and assisted three more in 12 league appearances for Benfica this season, while he has also featured five times in the Champions League.
