RB Leipzig are allegedly facing a battle to keep hold of Dani Olmo this summer, with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United all interested in signing him.
The 25-year-old has had his injury problems during the 2023-24 campaign, but the forward has still managed to contribute seven goals and four assists in 19 appearances in all competitions.
Olmo signed a new contract with Leipzig last June, with his current terms running until June 2027, but there is speculation surrounding his future, with some of the world's biggest clubs believed to be keen on his signature.
According to Fichajes, Barcelona are pushing to re-sign the Spain international, with the club confident that they will have the finances to secure a deal despite their off-the-field problems.
The report claims that Olmo is open to a return to Camp Nou, but Real Madrid and Man United are also battling for his services, while Manchester City are said to be keeping a close eye on the developments.
Olmo represented Barcelona as a youth player between 2007 and 2014, but he left the club in 2014 to sign for Dinamo Zagreb at the age of 16.
The forward went on to make 124 appearances for the Croatian outfit, scoring 34 goals and registering 28 assists in the process.
Olmo then made the move to Leipzig in 2020, and he has turned out on 142 occasions for the German team, scoring 28 goals and registering 33 assists in the process.
The versatile attacker is also very much a part of the Spain set-up at international level, playing 32 times for La Roja, scoring seven goals and registering seven assists.
Olmo is currently with the Spain squad preparing for friendlies with Colombia and Brazil, with Luis de la Fuente's side facing the former at West Ham United's London Stadium on Friday night.
The forward has helped Leipzig win their last three Bundesliga matches, playing the full 90 minutes of the 5-1 success over FC Koln last time out.
Olmo's current contract is said to include a release clause of €60m (£51.5m), which is unlikely to put off interested clubs.
The Spaniard is capable of operating in a number of different positions in the final third of the field, but he has largely featured off the right for Leipzig since returning from injury at the start of the year. body check tags ::
