Manchester United have reportedly been given a boost in their attempts to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches.
Last summer, the Portuguese prospect turned down the chance to move to Old Trafford in favour of a transfer to Bayern, but he was restricted to just six starts in the Bundesliga in his first year at the club.
The 19-year-old featured on 25 occasions in all competitions but according to Kicker, manager Carlo Ancelotti has decided that he would be willing to sell him for £23.5m.
The suggestion is that the current price is £7m lower than Bayern's previous valuation, and that is likely to alert Jose Mourinho, who is known to be an admirer of the youngster.
Sanches has just finished representing Portugal's Under-21 side at the European Championship, but with a number of weeks to go until he is due back for pre-season, discussions could potentially be held between the two clubs.
Sanches has been pushed down the pecking order at the Allianz Arena by the signing of Corentin Tolisso from Lyon.
