Bayern Munich have reportedly shelved their interest in RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano.
The German champions had seemingly emerged as the favourites for the 21-year-old, who is believed to have a £52m release clause in his current deal.
However, according to Bild, Bayern are currently focusing on completing a move for Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane and will then target Ajax's Sergino Dest.
As a result, the report claims that the Bundesliga giants have ended their interest in Upamecano as the coronavirus pandemic is likely to curb summer spending across European football.
Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Man City and Chelsea have also all been credited with an interest in the Frenchman ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Upamecano's existing deal at the Red Bull Arena is due to expire in the summer of 2021.
