Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema would seriously consider a move to Arsenal if they make a bid, according to a report.
The French international has been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners this summer, but with no formal bid from the North London club, Benzema has pledged his loyalty to Los Merengues.
However, the Daily Star quotes a source close to the player as saying that it is up to Arsenal to "fight for Karim with a big offer". The Spanish giants are said to value the former Lyon forward at around £50m.
It is thought that Arsenal's biggest competition for his signature would come from Manchester United, who are still believed to be in the market for a world-class striker.
Benzema was left out of Real's goalless draw away to Sporting Gijon on Sunday.
