Birmingham City sign Jesse Lingard on loan from Manchester United

Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard joins Birmingham City on a one-month loan deal.

Birmingham City have completed the loan signing of Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard.

Lingard impressed for United during their pre-season tour of Asia and Australia, netting twice in the club's 5-1 victory over the A-League All Stars.

The 20-year-old has yet to feature for United this season, and manager David Moyes has now allowed the England Under-21 international to move to St Andrew's on a one-month loan deal.

Lingard featured five times during a loan spell with Leicester City last season.
