Edinson Cavani could reportedly yet pen a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain despite suggestions that both Manchester United and Atletico Madrid want to sign him this summer.
As it stands, the 33-year-old will be a free agent at the end of June, and it has been widely claimed that the Uruguay international will leave Paris in search of pastures new.
United and Atletico are allegedly both prepared to offer PSG's all-time leading goalscorer a lucrative contract to join them ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
However, according to L'Equipe, Cavani could backtrack on his decision to leave Thomas Tuchel's side and subsequently pen a new contract.
Cavani has struggled to command a starting spot at PSG this season but has still scored seven times in 22 appearances in all competitions.
Newcastle United have also been mentioned as potential suitors, although the Magpies would have to ensure that their proposed takeover goes through in order to afford the South American.
