Chelsea have reportedly not made any significant progress in negotiations for Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Kai Havertz.
Having contributed 11 goals and five assists in the Bundesliga this season, the 21-year-old is being targeted by a number of top European clubs.
The Blues are among the Germany international's suitors and are said to have held discussions regarding a deal for the prospect.
However, according to The Athletic, the two teams remain far apart regarding their valuation of Havertz, who is also interesting Manchester United.
Although a fee of £75m has been mentioned, the report claims that Leverkusen are still prepared to hold out for as much as £90m.
While that could turn out to be a deal breaker, the German outfit are not in a rush to sell their key man, despite just two years remaining on his contract.
Leverkusen's stance may change should they fail to earn a place in next season's Champions League.
