Chelsea are reportedly preparing to bury the hatchet with Mino Raiola in a bid to improve their chances of signing Erling Braut Haaland this summer.
The Borussia Dortmund forward is one of the hottest properties on the market right now, and Chelsea are one of several European superpowers expected to battle it out for his signature in the summer.
Haaland is represented by his father Alf-Inge Haaland and notorious super agent Raiola, who has a frosty relationship with the Blues, but the club are supposedly hoping to leave the past in the past as they look to steal a march on their rivals.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia is working to clear the air with Raiola and hopefully improve relations between the two parties, although that does not guarantee a move to Stamford Bridge for Haaland.
Raiola oversaw the protracted transfer saga of Romelu Lukaku in 2017, where the former Chelsea man was understood to be on the brink of a return to the capital before completing a last-minute switch to Manchester United, which reportedly infuriated the Blues.
Manchester City and Manchester United are the other two Premier League clubs thought to be in the race for Haaland, but the latter are supposedly also concerned about Raiola's influence in negotiations. body check tags ::
