Chelsea are reportedly prepared to make a big-money bid for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

Having impressed during a second successive loan spell at Sheffield United, Henderson is wary of becoming deputy to David de Gea when he returns to Old Trafford.

With over two years left on his contract, United remain in a relatively strong position regarding the 23-year-old's future.

However, according to The Sun, Chelsea are ready to tempt United into selling the highly-regarded Englishman with an offer in the region of £50m.

Despite Kepa Arrizabalaga having kept clean sheets on his last two outings, it remains unclear whether the Spaniard will remain at Stamford Bridge in the long term.

Chelsea may be prepared to part ways with the stopper for a cut-price fee if they are able to bring in Henderson as his replacement.
