Chelsea are reportedly set to rival Manchester United for the signing of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho this summer.

The England international came close to leaving the Bundesliga club last year, but the Red Devils were unwilling to match the £108m asking price.

According to German news outlet Bild, Sancho has decided that he wants to return home this summer, which has triggered Chelsea to join United in the race for his signature.

Dortmund are also believed to have dropped their asking price to around £80m, a figure that both Premier League clubs would be prepared to pay for the 21-year-old.

Chelsea and United are also believed to be interested in Sancho's teammate Erling Braut Haaland, who will only be allowed to leave the Bundesliga club if they receive an offer of at least £150m for the striker.

Since Sancho left Manchester City in August 2017, the winger has recorded 48 goals and 62 assists for Dortmund in 134 appearances across all competitions. body check tags ::
