Chelsea are reportedly ready to up their efforts to secure a deal for Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Kai Havertz.
Since the turn of the year, it has been suggested that the 21-year-old could make the switch to a bigger European club during the next transfer window.
Despite interest from Manchester United and Bayern Munich, Chelsea are currently regarded as the favourites to get a deal over the line.
According to The Telegraph, club officials will look to make progress in discussions with their Leverkusen counterparts after this weekend's German Cup final.
The report suggests that Chelsea are prepared to battle it out with Bayern in the race for a player who is valued in the region of £90m.
Havertz has contributed 12 goals and six assists from 30 outings in the Bundesliga this season.
