Chelsea are reportedly yet to make an offer for Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic.
The Blues have struggled in the final third this season, registering just 36 goals in as many Premier League games, making them the fourth-lowest scorers in the top flight.
Their failure to consistently find the net has contributed to a disappointing campaign, with the West London club set to finish the season in the bottom half of the table.
Chelsea are expected to appoint Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager in the near future, and the former Tottenham boss will be keen to bolster his attacking options.
A recent report claimed that Chelsea had already made an €80m (£69.5m) offer for Vlahovic, who was bought by Juventus for €81.6m (£70.3m) in January 2022.
However, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are yet to submit an official bid for the Serbia international.
Vlahovic is believed to be one of many forward options that Chelsea are considering, but no talks have been held with Juventus about a summer move.
Although Vlahovic is under contract until June 2026, there has been speculation that Juventus could allow him to leave this summer if they receive an attractive offer.
Should Chelsea decide to make an offer, they could face competition from Premier League rivals Manchester United and German club Bayern Munich.
In 41 competitive appearances this season, Vlahovic has scored 14 goals and provided four assists for the Italian giants.
After finding the net in three of his last five games across all competitions, the striker is expected to lead the line when Juventus face Empoli on Monday evening.
Chelsea, meanwhile, suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday following Julian Alvarez's first-half strike.
The Blues will round off the 2022-23 campaign with an away game against Manchester United and a home meeting with Newcastle United.
