David De Gea has reportedly told Manchester United that money will not be a factor when he decides where his future lies.
The Spaniard is out of contract in the summer of 2016 and has been regularly linked with a move to Real Madrid, with some speculation suggesting that he would be a makeweight in a swap deal for Gareth Bale.
While United are thought to have offered the former Atletico Madrid keeper £200,000 a week to stay at Old Trafford, The Mirror claims that De Gea has already told friends that his heart will govern where he plays his football.
Real are said to have been boosted by that development, with the valuation of the player likely to drop if his contract situation is not resolved.
Los Blancos are also open to having Bale as part of any deal, but expect any fee to exceed that paid by United for Angel Di Maria last summer.
