Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has 'said yes' to joining Real Madrid this summer, according to a report.
The Spanish shot-stopper has been linked heavily with a move to the Bernabeu this season as a replacement for Iker Casillas.
The poor relationship between United manager Louis van Gaal and the 24-year-old is a principal reason for the move, suggests journalist Josep Pedrerol.
He told Spanish television channel La Sexta: "David de Gea has said yes to Madrid. The Manchester United goalkeeper wants to wear the white of Real Madrid from next season.
"The club considered many options for the goalkeeping situation but have decided on De Gea. And he is clear, he wants to be the Real Madrid goalkeeper."
De Gea was recently shortlisted for both the PFA Player and Young Player of the Year awards.
