Manchester United have reportedly agreed to make David de Gea the highest-paid goalkeeper in the world.
De Gea's existing contract - which is worth in the region of £210,000 a week - will run until the end of next season.
Real Madrid have long been credited with an interest in the Spain international, and it had been thought that the Spanish and European champions would launch another offer at the end of the campaign.
However, according to the Daily Star, De Gea is on the verge of signing a new long-term deal at Old Trafford, with United prepared to pay the Spaniard £350,000 a week to reflect his value to the team.
The 27-year-old has kept 19 clean sheets in 34 appearances for United during the 2017-18 campaign.
United will attempt to return to second position in the Premier League table when they travel to Crystal Palace on Monday night.
