David de Gea's agent Jorge Mendes is reportedly in England to seal a transfer to Real Madrid for the Manchester United goalkeeper.
The Spaniard is believed to be keen to move to the Bernabeu, but so far United have stood firm in their desire to keep hold of last season's Player of the Year.
The 24-year-old has not played a competitive game for United so far this season, and has not even been included in the squad for the club's last three matches as manager Louis van Gaal has claimed that the goalkeeper is not in the right frame of mind to feature.
Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has revealed in AS that De Gea could move to Madrid in the final few days of the transfer window, which closes on September 1, and Mendes is in England to push the deal through.
United have been dented in the transfer market over the last couple of days as they appear to be losing targets Nicolas Otamendi and Pedro to Manchester City and Chelsea respectively.
