The 24-year-old was a regular for Ronald Koeman's side during the 2020-21 campaign, making 44 appearances in all competitions, contributing 11 goals and five assists in the process.
Dembele's current deal is due to expire next June, but the France international has said that neither he nor Barca are in a hurry to come to a fresh agreement.
"I don't know, we'll see," Dembele told L'Equipe. "We'll meet with Barcelona's directors. There's still lots of time, I'm in no rush. They aren't either. We'll see what happens. I'm just fully focused on Euro 2020 right now. Then I'll go on holiday after what will have been a very long season."
A recent report claimed that the Catalan giants had offered Dembele a new contract on reduced wages due to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak. body check tags ::
