Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has denied that Inter Milan are in discussions with Arsenal over a possible deal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang during this summer's transfer window.
Aubameyang's contract at the Emirates Stadium will expire at the end of next season, and a number of clubs, including Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with the Gabon international.
A recent report claimed that the attacker was currently in talks with a number of Inter players ahead of a potential move to San Siro at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
Di Marzio has claimed that Aubameyang could be a target for Inter in the future but has insisted that there has been "no contact" between the two parties thus far.
"No, Inter Milan is not in talks with Arsenal for Aubameyang. There are no official contacts at all between Inter and Arsenal, even if he could be a target in the future," Di Marzio told Sky Sports News. "I can't deny that he's a possible target for Inter but no contact, no price, no deal between Inter and Arsenal for Aubameyang."
The 30-year-old has been in impressive form for Arsenal during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring 20 times in 32 appearances in all competitions.
