Bayer Leverkusen attacker Moussa Diaby is reportedly determined to secure a move to the Premier League this summer amid suggestions of interest from Manchester United and Arsenal.

The 24-year-old made the move to Leverkusen from Paris Saint-Germain in July 2019, and he has represented his German club on 172 occasions, scoring 49 goals and registering 48 assists in the process.

Last season, Diaby netted 14 goals and registered 11 assists in 48 matches for Leverkusen, including five goals and one assist in 14 outings in the Champions League and Europa League.

The France international has another two years left to run on his contract at BayArena, but there is currently a host of speculation surrounding his future.

Man United and Arsenal are both said to be keen on the attacker, while Newcastle United were heavily linked with him last summer and are still thought to retain an interest.

According to Bild, Diaby is determined to secure a move to the Premier League this summer, with the forward ready to make the next step in his career.

The report claims that a return to PSG would also be attractive to the Frenchman if an official bid from one of the major clubs in English football does not arrive.

Diaby came through the youth system at PSG before making his first-team debut in 2018, but he moved on after just 34 appearances for the capital giants.

The forward has contributed double figures in terms of goals in three of his four seasons at Leverkusen, including 17 in all competitions during an impressive 2021-22 campaign.

Newcastle, who have secured a return to the Champions League for next season, are in the market for a new wide player this summer, with Leicester City's Harvey Barnes also believed to be a target.

Arsenal, though, are not believed to be prioritising a move for Diaby at this moment in time, with the Gunners already bringing in Kai Havertz, while deals for Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber are close to being announced.

Man United, meanwhile, are in the market for a centre-forward this summer rather than a wide attacker, although a move for Diaby could potentially see Marcus Rashford shifted into a central position.

Diaby largely played as a right-side attacker for Leverkusen last season, but he is also capable of operating off the left and through the middle, potentially making him an attractive addition for Erik ten Hag's side. body check tags ::
