Brahim Diaz reportedly has a clause in his Real Madrid contract that will prevent him from joining Manchester United.
The 21-year-old spent six years at Manchester City, two of those in and around the first team, before moving to Real Madrid in 2019.
Diaz struggled for appearances at the Bernabeu and has spent this season on loan with AC Milan, where he has enjoyed more of a sustained run.
Madrid have been tipped to cash in on the 21-year-old in the summer, but Marca claims that United will not be among his suitors.
It is claimed that City insisted on Diaz's Madrid contract containing a clause that ensures he will not end up at Old Trafford.
Should Los Blancos sell the midfielder at the end of the campaign, the same report indicates that City are in line for a 40% share of any fee.
