Everton are reportedly ready to make Leighton Baines their highest earner to fend off interest from Manchester United.
Blues manager Roberto Martinez is planning to offer the England left-back a £65k-a-week deal to keep him at Goodison Park, according to The Mirror.
Baines has been linked with a move to Old Trafford since former Everton boss David Moyes was named as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor there.
The former Wigan Athletic star has two years remaining on his current contract.
