Everton will reportedly rival Manchester United in their pursuit of £40m rated Lyon striker Moussa Dembele next summer.
Having impressed at Celtic, the Frenchman scored 20 goals in his opening season at Lyon, and has five goals from four appearances in all competitions so far this term.
United are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements following the club's decision to dispense with and fail to replace attacking duo Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez over the summer.
However, according to Football Insider, the Toffees are preparing a dossier on Dembele and recently went to watch him in action against Saint Etienne.
The Red Devils were also in attendance to watch Dembele, who is just one of a few strikers currently on the club's radar.
Reports suggest that Ousmane Dembele, Callum Wilson and Mario Mandzukic are all options being considered by United ahead of January.
