Everton have reportedly joined the race to sign Inter Milan centre-back Diego Godin this summer.
Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti is thought to have made defensive reinforcements his top priority when the transfer window reopens, with centre-back a particular concern.
Everton have been linked with a host of Serie A players since Ancelotti took over, and Calciomercato reports that Godin is the latest target for the former AC Milan boss.
The 34-year-old has struggled to nail down a regular role in Antonio Conte's side since joining Inter from Atletico Madrid last summer, making only 12 league starts this season.
The Uruguay international has subsequently been tipped to leave the title contenders after only one season, with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur also thought to be interested in the veteran.
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is known to be a long-time admirer of Godin and also tried to sign him during his spell as Man United manager.
