Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand will reportedly sign a contract extension with the club next week.
The 34-year-old, who is due to be a free agent in the summer, has yet to agree new terms with the Premier League champions.
However, the centre-back is expected to pen a new deal in the next few days, according to Sky Sports News.
Ferdinand recently announced his retirement from the England national team in order to further his club career.
