Bruno Fernandes is reportedly furious with Sporting Lisbon for blocking his Premier League move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder had been rumoured to have attracted interest from a number of top clubs in England, with Manchester United also heavily linked.
According to The Mirror, however, Tottenham are thought to have made a late bid of £70m for Fernandes, which supposedly met the club's valuation of their asset.
The Portuguese club turned the bid down, though, due to the structure of the payments Spurs were proposing, which included a large chunk that would have been dependent on certain clauses being met.
Instead, Mauricio Pochettino opted to move for Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, whose move was confirmed on deadline day.
Fernandes hit an impressive 32 goals and recorded a further 18 assists from 53 appearances across all competitions last term.
