Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes has reportedly been 'seduced' by Manchester United due to the contract on offer from the Red Devils.
United have been strongly linked with a move for the Portugal international this summer and it has recently been reported that the 20-time English champions have made a breakthrough in negotiations.
According to Jornal de Noticias, the fact that the Premier League giants have offered a deal worth between £4.5m and £5.3m a season in wages has convinced Fernandes to move to Old Trafford.
The report, however, adds that the two clubs are yet to agree when it comes to a transfer figure, with Sporting wanting £62m, while United are only currently prepared to pay £32m.
Fernandes, who has also been linked with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur this summer, scored 32 times and registered 18 assists in 53 appearances for his Portuguese club last term.
The attacker has a contract at the Estadio Jose Alvalade until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
