Nicolas Gaitan's agent has revealed that he has not spoken to any clubs about a transfer away from Benfica.
Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a move for the 25-year-old in the January transfer window.
However, Jose Iribarren has dismissed the speculation, insisting that any interested clubs must speak to Benfica first.
Speaking to TMW, Iribarren said: "We start from this premise: anybody who wants Gaitan must speak with Benfica. Then, once the club accept the offer, they can talk to me.
"Personally, I have not spoken to anyone, as its clearly not appropriate for me to give away Benfica's players."
Gaitan has made 17 appearances for the Portuguese side this season.
