Inter Milan have moved to scare off Manchester United by offering Fredy Guarin the opportunity to extend his stay at the San Siro, according to reports.
Guarin has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months, and United are reportedly high on a list of admirers.
The 27-year-old is still believed to be eager on a move to England when the transfer window reopens in the summer, talkSPORT reports.
Guarin's current contract with Inter expires in 2016 but the club are willing to offer him a pay rise in an attempt to keep the Colombian in Milan.
